Hi Deb, I think you're confusing me with Stephanie. I used to , but thank God I've been free from that vice since before I had my surgery in Feb. I find myself being tempted from time to time, but I tell myself... "How ironic would it be to go through all that I've been through...wanting a healthier life, and all the good things that come with a healthier life...to end up dying from cigarettes". At my funeral they'd be saying, "she died of lung cancer, but she sure was skinny" So I've stopped and don't want to ever go back! I'm not standing on my soap box preaching to anyone. I'm not wagging a finger at ya I pass no judgements on those who do , We all work out our own lives. tonya

OHHHHH MY GOSH, NOT TO LAUGH AT YOUR "FUNERAL", MS TONYA ... BUT, YOU HAD ME ROTFLOL SKINNY LADY! I SMOKED FOR A COUPLE YEARS IN MY LATE TEENS, BUT QUIT COLD TURKEY WHEN MY DOC TOLD ME HE COULD HEAR A WEAK AREA "WHEEZING" IN MY LUNG ... I WANTED A CIG SO BAD I COULD HAVE LICKED THE BOTTOM OF THE ASH TRAY, BUT I QUIT & AM SO GLAD I DID. THAT'S HOW I FEEL ABOUT MOST THINGS NOW ... GEEZ DAWN, YOU DIDN'T GO THROUGH WLSurgery TO DIE OF DIABETES (STAY AWAY FROM THE SUGAR), ETC, ETC, ETC. THIS SURGERY REALLY MAKES ME SEE MY DECISIONS IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LIGHT. WE'RE SO SUCCESSFUL AT WEIGHT LOSS THAT IT JUST DRIVES ME TO BE SUCCESSFUL (AGAIN) AT OTHER THINGS. LIKE, LET'S NOT WASTE THE MOMENTUM!!!!!!!!!

Christine, Hang in there Darlin', a stall can be soooooo frustrating I know first hand. I look at it as a positive now...it's Gods way of teaching me patience I get it God, I get it!!! and Christine gets it too If we hang in there our bodies will regroup, adjust, and do what this surgery intended it to do. Tonya, I am down 51 lbs since surgery! I am so excited. I have cleaned out my closet 3 times since surgery. I know have a box that state "Clothes Julie has Outshrunk" Thanks for keeping us all up to date. Julie
