OUR HEARTS JUST BREAK FOR YOU, MS DEB. I KNOW BOTH NICK & I WERE SO "DOWN" WHEN I WAS GOING THROUGH ALL THAT HEART STUFF & THE ISSUES WITH MY MEDS ... LIKE, WE GET THIS SURGERY TO BE HEALTHIER & THEN ALL WE FACE ARE HEALTH PROBLEMS ... BUTTTTT, OUR GOD IS MIGHTY & FAITHFUL ... &, OUR CHALLENGES ARE SHORT LIVED WHILE OUR SUCCESSES LAST A LIFETIME, SO DON'T GIVE UP ... THIS TOO SHALL PASS, MS DEB.

Deb, if I can give you any advice for the urodynamics test, it is this- deep breaths.
Yes, it is humiliating and uncomfortable, but if you tense up your muscles, it is actually worse... so try to envision being in a favorite place, or find one thing to focus on in the room, to get outside of your mind, and breathe slowly and deeply. They will ask you to do things like cough and bear down as if you were delivering a baby or having a BM. They will be filling your bladder, as I am sure you know. I am trying to think of everything I can to help you know exactly what to expect, but I think that is about it. If I left out anything important, I apologize, but please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers today, darlin!!!
