patty, when you post a message look to the left of the page and you will see two blue boxes, one says Title Images, the other says Message Emoticons if you click the white arrow on the box messase emoticons you will see all the little characters to the left of them you will see what to type in your message to get the character for ex: if i wanted the face I would type barf with : at the begining and end of the word barf. hope this makes sense?? hugs NORA
