DAWN NEEDS OUR PRAYERS....

I just spoke with Dawn's husband. She was having severe pain last night and they gave her a different med. She did not tolerate that med very well and it really zonked her. They had to move her to ICU last night because she would not wake up. She is still there and still very, very groggy. Dr. Bour has also started antibiotics for possible pneumonia. PLEASE PRAY FOR DAWN TODAY. I don't know when they will move her out of ICU, but her Hubby said he will call me and I will let everyone know. Melissa

I hate that she is having problems!!! She SO deserves the easiest road to recovery!! Well, I will be praying for her and thinking about her all weekend while we are in Michigan. Hopefully this will only be a bump in the road and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Please tell her that I am thinking of her if you get a chance to talk to her. If I don't see any updates posted before we leave town, I may call you this weekend to see if you know any more. I won't have computer access. Thanks for keeping us updated! Kathy

I just lefted the hospital. Dawn is slowly coming around...she is still in ICU. Melony is there with her now, making sure she does her breathing exercises. She is recieving breathing treatments every 4 hrs to help loosen up any phlem in her lungs. she's coughing when told to, that will help with that also. She's being a wonderful patient. I'm going to return around 3:00 pm just to let her know we ALL care ,that we are praying for her , and that she is not alone I heard her nurse say that they will have her up walking this afternoon. Keep those prayers coming!!! Tonya

Father God, I come before you now and lift up my sister Dawn to you. I pray Father for you to give wisdom the doctors and nurses dealing with Dawn and that you would heal her. Please encourage her husband and her during this time. Please clear her lungs and go to the source of the problem. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen Joan M

I just left ICU with Dawn and she was getting up to walk. She will most likely not leave ICU today, but maybe tomorrow. She has not had a leak test and desperately wants ice or water. Please follow me in prayer as we pray that God lift her anxiety and please, Heavenly Father, bring peace to the family in this time of worry. In Jesus name, Amen.
