adding photos

I added a photo in my profile but how do you put one in your posts? Or those before and after photos you see on the main page? I am having trouble figuring all this out, thanks for any help and remember to explain it to me in easy terms. I don't understand my computer to well but I am slowly learning all about it. I was anxious to see your pic but your profile pic is gone with just a little red "x" in its place ... I have no idea why ... Where have you stored your picture (Snapfish, Photobucket, etc?)? Could you have exceeded your limit there, Ms Sandra?
