Just out of curiosity, I like to know what everyone else does everyday I try to start my day with Denise Austin at 7:30am, and if not, I tape it and do it later or in the evening. I drink a protein shake for breakfast unless my family is home, then egg beaters work, and then if I am out, Wendy's taco salad with chili, I can only eat a bit of the lettuce and most or some of the chili, its addictive....what do they put in these? CRACK? Home, relax, on the computer in the afternoon, watch tv and start dinner depending on what day it is, watch tv/survivor/idol or something (by the way, I don'****ch idol since they voted off Chris....who cares now! ) Head to bed around 10pm or 11pm Just curious! Love you guys! Deb

Well,my day start out around 5:30 am. I get myself up and I have a 10 year old daughter to get up as well. I shower, then get my lunch and her lunch packed make sure all her things are ready for school. Then, I get to do my hair and make up,while she gets dressed. Rush out the door around 6: 15 am. Drop her off at before school around 6: 30 am. Then I am off to work. I have to be there by 7am. I am a nurse. I work Monday thru Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm. Around 3: 30 start to head home to Goose Creek, from downtown....now that is exhausting there. Pick up my daughter take her to softball practice or game or Kumon. Kumon, she is done by around 5 or so, but if it is a softball game or practice we don't get home till 8 pm. So, when we get home, I get her shower ready and do any house work ie..laundry. Then I like to be asleep no later that 9 pm. Then I start this all over again, at 5:30 am the next day. Did Ileave out when there is any time in between Kumon and softball....oh yeah....there is homewrok too. I just have the one child....THANK GOODNESS. I don't see how people have 3 and 4 kids. During the week we are VERY busy! Weekends are a little bit more relaxing, sometimes. Well that is my day. Chell

WOW I am exhausted just reading your post!! I suppose those with more than one kid just don't do as much extracurricular activities with them. My 2 boys did karate together, so we didn't have to shuttle them around separately, which is a good thing. Get some rest! You derve it! So are you an RN?? Where do you work? Take care, Deb

I am a LPN and have been one ever since 1994. I gratuated high school, in 1992 and went straight to college. I was going to be a Physical Therapist, BUT fell in what I thought was "love" and got the shortest medical degree that I could get and make decent money with. I am a nusre at the VA hospital and I work in the Endoscopy unit there. We are a very busy family. Seeing how I am only 3 weeks out, it can be VERY exhausting. I try not to over do it, but realisticly the laundry and everything else did not stop just because I had surgery. My husband is good, at trying. If it does not involve hunting, fishing or scuba diving then he really isn't interested. BUT, if I complain enough he will do things. He was at my side the entire time at the hospital. I sent him home one night at 1:30 am due to his TERRIBLE snoring.....oh my goodness the snoring is just AWFUL! I made him go for a sleep study and sure enough he has sleep apnea. He stopped breathing 30 times in an hour on the average. So he sleeps with a CPAP machine. He did not bring it with him to the hospital. Anyways, that is pretty much my life Monday thru Friday. Trying to find things to eat and what not to eat and trying to find Calcium Citrate that I can take is REALLY stressing me out. Do yo have any advice? Especially with the calcium. I haven't taken the calcium yet. I bought these pills, but NO way can I swallow them and to crush them....FORGET IT! Any advice for me? Thanks, Chell

TRY CALCIUM CITRATE CHEWABLE WAFERS WITH MAGNESIUM & VITAMIN D BY TWIN LABS FROM THE VITAMIN SHOPPE. THEY REMIND ME OF SWEET TARTS. YOU TAKE 4 DAY. AS FOR BIG PILLS ... FORGET CRUSHING THEM ... YUCK ... JUST GET A PILL SPLITTER & CUT THEM DOWN TO THE SIZE OF AN M&M, THEN SWALLOW THE PIECES. SO MUCH EASIER & NO HORRIBLE TASTE THAT WAY! DOC BYRNE OK'D THIS METHOD, MS CHELL. GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

Hello, life is a little different for me since I am only 11 days post op. but this is how is goes. I wake up around 5-5:15 am and take shower, fix hair and face. Kick hubby out of bed, make bed and then make hubby's lunch. My 17 mth old boy wakes up and I would usually get him. Change diaper and feed him and then get dressed for work. I then have to take son to grandma's 4 days a week and pray that I can make it to work by 8am.. more like 8:30am. We play it day by day on who picks son up from nanna's. Play with Joey for a few hours, make supper ( really throw something together or eat take out), feed, bathe and sleep time around 8pm. I am totally exhausted by then and I watch TV till 9pm and off to dreamland. I work only 4 days a week so I can spend time with son. Dr. Morgan tells me that I should not be picking up son but life must go on so I have to pick him up. Did I mention that I am 40yrs old and my son gives me a work out so there is no need for Denise Austin. I did move my trendmill so that I can start walking indoor. I also have MS so the temp outside really affects me so I try to stay indoors in warm weather. I have Friday's off so I play catch up- working on checkbook and bills when baby is napping- like now... later if I am feeling up to it we will go out and pick a few things up. It's a non-stop fight right now and I'm praying that life will be easier for me soon with the drastic weight loss. Today, Joey took off before I could get diaper on him and he had a blast- When I did get ahold of him it was crazy to get him still to diaper him up. I think I might have a nudist living among us..... Thanks for asking and have a GREAT DAY!!!! Ana

Hi Deb I'm pre-op, and my day -- for the last 3 weeks -- has been spent staying close to a bathroom! I drink 5 Optifast drinks a day, plus at least 64 oz. of water. (I've been averaging 112 oz. of water daily) So I spend half my time in the bathroom! I wake up around 7:30 AM every day, and I walk for as long as I can on my treadmill. Then shower, face application, feed the kittycat and do litter box duty. I do whatever needs doing around the house, and plan whatever errands I'm running that day. My husband gets home from work between 6 and 7 PM, and we eat dinner together soon after that. We watch whatever's on TV, or sit with our laptop computers and read ... then head to bed. Zzzzzzzz. Hopefully, my life will be a little more interesting when I start losing weight and gaining energy! Dawn

Yeah Deb...Chris was the favorite to win and we miss him as well. But I think Chris had a contract before he was supposedly voted off. You just can't be that GOOD without having people knocking down your door with a deal. Ya know? Anyway I'm kindA old school and really hope Taylor wins. He reminds me of Elvis. hahaha....love ELVIS PRESLEY!! SUUZ
