Saw the Plastic Surgeon Today!!

I am very excited, as he said there was not much weight left to lose!!! He said that he wants to try liposuction first, and do a little tightening, not much, on my old tummy tuck, and that with aggressive compression garment wearing, that he thinks the skin might go back without having to take it up. He said worse case senario, he will go back and just tighten the skin, which will be easy to do after 6 weeks after the lipo. He said I lost a lot of volume in my boobs, which I knew, so he said he would put in 300cc's of gel packs instead of saline, which goes under the muscle, and he said he thought I would do great without that, and just the gel packs or gel boobies, would fill out nicely with a lift. So, he is going to do all my abdomen, inner/outer thighs, legs, knees, scar/tummy tuck revision, and circumfirential lipo of butt, back, hips, and abdomen, and gel packs. He said all that would be 4 hrs, and that is all he wanted to do at once. He said that there was not a lot of fat to lipo, so he is hoping the skin will tighten up and adhere back to my body again, and if not, we can do a simple trimming and pulling up my skin. He really does not want to have to cut my arms, so if it will adhere, that would be awesome. I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!! He said even if I was nothing but skin and bones, no muscle or fat to contend with, I would never be a size 4, so that at my height and weight, (175 today) that another 10 or 15 pounds will not make a huge difference in what I would look like. SO, the earliest I can get in is July 19th. I can't wait!! I am hitting the exercises hard and heavy now! I am sooo motivated to get these muscles and skin back into shape!!! I am going to Dr. Heikes at Southeastern Plastic Surgery. I have his business cards for anyone who is interested when you cross that bridge. He is downtown across the street from Roper. He is in practice with Dr. Costa who does faces. I am going to be in Real Estate class tomorrow until 5:30, so I probably won't make it tomorrow night. See ya later!! Deb

That is so great! It's like you're entering the home stretch of this whole process and you must be really proud of yourself! Good for you! Is insurance covering this? That is my biggest question for when I come to that bridge. You are going to look even more amazing, girl. My teenaged daughter was so impressed with your photos! She said to tell you that you are unbelievably pretty! I can't wait until I am at that stage! Congrats! Christine

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Deb, It's been so awesome to follow your progress...now you've made it to another goal, plastics here she comes Now I think your absolutely gorgeous just the way you are, inside and out...but being a women I understand the excess skin issues too.
