I got a call from my darling step-mother this morning that my two missing dogs were there "killing" her cat. By the way, the cat is just fine. I scurried out to get them. They are home with me now and are in good shape, considering their adventurous week. I punished them with lots of hugs and kisses and cookies. I am so relieved and exhausted. Thank you SO SO much for your prayers and support. No more Bad Barbara. Now, if I can get my stomach to unknot itself, I'll be in good shape. Love you all, B

Good to see you last night Barbara. Poor Barbara, she is the BAD one! Now take care of yourself and those babies -- and put Cecil to work on that fence! (don't tell him I said so (lol)). See you next week....We love and missed you! Susann

Barbara, SOOOO Sorry you had to go through all of this, and with your step mom too. Just what you needed on top of your missing children! Glad we didn't have to post their pics on the milk carton!! Big Hugs and blessings!! So, I am assuming the pups are going to live with you now?? Feel better, I know stress always messes me up, so make sure you take care of yourself and eat, drink and take your vitamins!! God Bless!! Deb =^..^= Don't know how to make a doggie?

Milk carton.... Actually, that's not a bad idea. I was about at that point. I am feeling much better now that everybody's safe and sound. And I am being showered with more puppy love than the law should allow. Those fuzzy little guys have a way of making you feel SO good. It was all worth it. Thanks for your prayers. Love, B

GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOUR FURRY KIDS ARE SAFELY BACK HOME, MS BARBARA. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. OUR NEWEST FAMILY MEMBER, NATASHA, (ADOPTED HER 4/29 FROM THE SPCA) BROKE HER COLLAR & RAN AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AFTER TAKING A SWIM IN THE POND, WE FOUND OUT, SCARING ME HALF TO DEATH ALL AFTERNOON UNTIL NICK CAME HOME FROM WORK EARLY WITH THE CAR & FOUND HER. CHECK WITH YOUR VET ABOUT HAVING THEM EACH MICRO CHIPPED. IT'S REALLY INEXPENSIVE & SOOOOOOOO WORTH IT! WE JUST CHECKED INTO GETTING A FENCE ... BECAUSE WE'RE ON A POND, OUR HOA SAYS WE CAN ONLY HAVE A 4' "OPEN" FENCE. &, EVEN WITH THAT SHORT OF A FENCE & ONLY HAVING TO FENCE 2 SHORT AREAS & 2 LONG AREAS, THE ESTIMATE FROM "CHARLESTON FENCE COMPANY" WAS $2,350.00. HOLY MOLY, I ABOUT HAD FINANCIAL HEART FAILURE. OUR NEIGHBOR DID HIS OWN INSTALLATION & STILL JUST THE MATERIALS WERE $1,800.00. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE A NICE LOT, IT ISN'T BIG ... I WAS EXPECTING ABOUT $1,500.00 FOR EVERYTHING. GOD BLESS Y'ALL DAWN & NICK

I know, fences are SO expensive. We just bought some very affordable chainlink panels from Ace Hardware on College Park Road (they deliver) and poles and assembly hardware from Lowes and are going to assemble our own large dog run next weekend. Even do-it-yourself is out of sight, but we have to do it. We have 4 acres and can no way afford to fence the whole thing. Have you thought about fencing just part of your yard for your babies? Since they are small and not so strong, the fence wouldn't have to be high. We have to go 6'. We are going at least 20' x 30' x 6' to start and we'll stay under $1500. You might want to check them out. Since the fence is modular, we will add to it as we can afford to. We are attaching the panels to 2 3/8" posts that are set into PVC pipe put 2' into the ground - no concrete necessary. My dad had done this before and he says it will work, so my fingers are crossed. Good luck! Love, B
