Melony Is A Loser!

I just spoke briefly on the phone with Melony B's father and then with Melony. Her surgery is over and she is in her room at Hillcrest. She said her mouth was so so dry, and that she was using her pain meds, as the pain was definitely a factor. She said she felt like she could get up and walk soon, and would like to stop the pain meds ... but she knows she needs them at this point in time. I was over at Hillcrest this afternoon for my EGD, but didn't want to stop in to see Melony so soon after her surgery. I'm planning to see her tomorrow. I did ask Dr. Bour how Meloony was doing, and he said everything went very well. Keep Melony in your prayers! Dawn P.S. The nurses at Hillcrest love Dr. Bour ... the nurse that started my IV talked for 15 minutues about what a skilled surgeon he is. And now I'm off to off the effects of the Happy Meds I had there.
