Stricture question

Anyone know how they will test me for strictures tomorrow? I am getting anxious just thinking about that barium test, and I'm hoping someone will tell me that they do a different test for this. I appreciate any little bit of info. you can provide about the test for strictures, and treatment if it is in fact a stricture. Thanks, friends! Christine

Well, we were at the clinic at MUSC for THREE hours and got to see Dr. Morgan for less than five minutes. All to be told, "well, let's wait a few weeks and see how you do. Call us if you have another incident like that." We were beyond frustrated. Why couldn't they just tell me that on the phone? So, I have no answers as to why I ended up in the E.R. on Friday- a possibility of the noodles I was eating being hard to digest, and a possibility that it could be angina, but I am no more informed now than I was on Friday. I am being a little more careful about chewing my food exceptionally well. I did apparently eat too much last night when I got home- I was trying to play catch-up with my intake that I missed, being gone from home for five and a half hours- because I suddenly got a pain and felt like I needed to throw up. I didn't, thank goodness, but I am glad to know that my pouch has a way of screaming at me if I overdo it. So thanks for the prayers and well-wishes, friends. Sorry I don't have a better update.
