Interesting side effect to morning sickness
Even though i have been bellowing to the huby about how lovely I have been feeling,
I have gotten one thing out of this so far. I am down another 5 pounds, not only making me 5 pounds away from the century mark, but I was actually able to get into a size MEDIUM pants today!!!!!!!!

I tried them on last week and couldn't get them over my hips, and low and behold this morning they slipped right on. Granted once I start showing they won't fit any longer though hey can't complain right. Even the hubby says that he can see a huge difference from just last month.
This is obviously going to be the first pregnncy where I am going to end up slimmer post pregnancy than I was before pregnancy. I can deal with that.
Funny thing is the things that I have been able to keep down is stuff like toast and what not that I technically "shoouldn't" be eating. Though i have been making sure to be good and at least eat my toast with peanut butter on it. So I am trying. Though it's been tough cause almost NOTHING sounds good.
And when I can keep soemthing down I have been able to eat alot more than before at some points. Just the other day i was able to eat an entire taco bell bean burrito.
( yes I know that is bad but it was the only thing that stayed down that entire day)
Right now though I would give my left arm for some of Cheryl's wings, though thanks to hubby's games I get to wait at least 3 weeks for those
Oh well I 'll jus thave to order a double and save some for later
Just had to brag about my latest shrinkage. Though honestly at this point I would be happier just have to have some energy and soe motivation. Though hopefully that will come after I get past this first yucky trimester.

Hey! Congrats on the baby!!! I'm from Goose Creek but moved to North Carolina (right on the board of VA & NC) in July of 2004. I had my surgery done by Dr Byrne at MUSC Oct 3 2003. Anyway, I lurk on the SC board every once in a while to see what is going on and ran across your post. I just had the most beautiful baby girl March 22nd. I could not ask for a happier & healthier baby. This is mine and my husbands first baby and I know without this surgery I never would have been able to have a baby. God has truely blessed us with our little angel.
I wanted to let you know (incase you haven't already found it) there is a forum on this site for woman who are pregnant post-op. The women there are wonderful. If you ever have any questions, concerns or just need to chat with some women who are going through the same thing you are please don't hesitate to jump on over there and post. Don't worry about being able to eat things you 'shouldn't' be eating. I felt like I ate ALL day and only gained 19 pounds while I was pregnant. I've already lost 10 of those pounds and my eating habits have gone back to how they were before I got pregnant. The funny thing about my pregnancy was before I was one of the 'lucky' (note the sarcasm) ones who could eat sweets but when I got pregnant it was like the baby knew I wasn't suppose to be eating them. Every time I tried eating something to sweet it would make me sooo sick. Baby girl knew mamma was trying to be bad and she was keeping me in line. LOL
Good luck with your pregnancy and take care of you and that little one.
Hugs
Teresa
