Ugghhh! I wish I could be there...I am just getting started in this journey. I am going from a lap-band to RNY. Save me a seat at the next meeting! Melissa--I have a St. Francis insurance question for you--can you email me? [email protected] Cyndi

I won't be able to make it. My husband got called in for tomorrow night so I don't have anyone to keep my daughter. Hopefully next time. Marcey

Maybe you could bring your daughter along. Mine will usually sit still if she has something to eat or a coloring book and crayons to keep her busy. I have a young daughter too and NO one to watch her except my husband or me. I have to take her along to many things. That is, of course, assuming that you are comfortable with that. I'll probably have to bring mine along sometime in the future and I really hope its not a problem. Kathy

I'll be there too! Don't you think it would be okay for Marcey to bring her daughter? I may have to bring my daughter to a group meeting in the future. Isn't this mostly going to be unstructured and social? And wouldn't it include husbands/significant others too? I'll go with whatever the majority decides. Kathy

I appreciate the offer to allow me to bring Willow but she is 2.5 and her bedtime is 8 and she gets really cranky if shes out past her bed time. I will defantly try to be at the next one thanks everyone! Marcey

Oh! I totally understand. My daughter just turned 4 and believe me she is ALOT different now than she was at 2.5! She's a little bit easier to reason with (or bribe ) now. Her bedtime is supposed to be 8 pm, but we usually start fighting around 8 and actually get to bed at 9:30. Kathy
