Is there a high rate of revisions for RNY?

I am going to be having a consultation soon for RNY surgery but I am curious to know if there is a high rate of people needing revisions after having RNY? I mean, I don't want to do it for nothing, kwim?

Well- it works for some people but for some of us it does not and some follow the doctors instructions to a "T". I had a open RYN Sept 2003 and I have failed for the following reasons: 1) I had very little after care and follow up care- didnt even know I was to take B-12 and B6 supplements or over 50 grams of protein a day. 2) Was told I could drink soda after out for 2 hours. 3)I got pregnant Nov 2003 I am now 20 pounds less then the day I had WLS in 2003. I am having an revision May 30th, which will be a band and reducing my instines to 3 feet.
