revision from rny to lapband

hi all i had rny in 2001 did well for 2yrs then started gaining when i went back to my surgeon he said i was eating and doing the things i was supposed to do. went back a year later and had gained more weight he told me the same thing. that was about 6mths ago recently went to a new surgeon who sent me for a endoscope and to my surpise i have staple line disruption. she has sugested lapband vs redoing the rny says that would be more complicated and riskier then lapband.hoping someone has some info thanks..
