Revisions

I have heard some talking about needing a revision after years of having the rny, what exactly is it and why do you need it? Melissa

Revision...to revise...to change... A revision means 1 of 2 things: 1. correcting a mechanical problem with the original surgery (e.g., repairing a staple line disrupture or going from a proximal to distal form) or 2. changing the original surgery to another form of WLS.
