Has anyone with a revision have this problem?

I have a friend that had a revision from open RNY to a more distal RNY. Since coming home she has constant diareah and swelling in the admonial region. She had a tube in for over a month to drain the fluid but when they took the tube out she continues to swell to the point she has gained 18 lbs since the surgury. They did an ultrasound and could see nothing causing it. Has anyone had this problem and had a solution found for it? Please let me know if you have. Thanks, Kathy

She needs a second opinion NOW, lab tests run, upper gi-(swallow test)- NOT A ULTRASOUND! to see if she is leaking. Tell her to take her temp religiously every 4 hours. Starts to rise, needs to see MD immediately if not the ER. This could be real serious. Diarrhea consistency is almost expected, but not the continual having to go part . No milk products would help.
