I had lap band revised to RNY Dec 20, 2018 My tastebuds are off. My coffee taste like warm water. Has this happened to anyone else?

yes, It happened to me and 8 years later it is still that way. It has to be very high quality and very well made coffee for it to taste good to me.

You are drinking coffee? Wow! My sleeve from May 2008 was revised to RNY on Nov 28, 2018 and I am 6 weeks out and just now allowed to add decaf coffee into my nutrition a couple of times a week. I am told not to add a real cup of coffee until I am 6 months out at least. Caffeine dehydrates you and hydration is JOB ONE for all us. Best of Luck in your journey. I am excited. RNY is an extreme but fantastic tool in our lifelong fight against obesity.

I was told for every cup of coffee I drank I had to add in another cup of water to replace it...basically one for one.
