In Dallas/FtWorth looking to revise my sleeve to ds or bypass

Any thoughts on surgeons? Bagshahi-Roberts-Ayoola-Other? Is anyone three or four years post a revision progress or updates? I've never had any complications or side effects or difficulties with my sleeve. I have no health issues. I have simply re-gained back all of my weight in year three and four.

The DS scares me because they say it is so complicated and has so many complications and deficiencies, the bypass scares me because I think what if it's not enough, and also of the dumping. The Bal movement scare me on both of them. I lost Hair from six to month 40 probably on my sleeve and it was absolutely awful that is my biggest hurdle to get over with doing a revision. My hair is just starting to come back.

Thoughts? Experiences? Recs?

I know they say weight loss with revision is slower but will I lose it all again? Sometimes they say at DSU lose too much so I just really don't know what to do it doesn't seem to be a straight path like it was to get a sleeve done the first time

There's a really active DS group over at bariatricfacts.org where you can speak to patients in that practice.

im in process of getting an rny revision to a DS. Because you already have the sleeve, which means you still have your pyloric valve, getting the DS means re-routing your intestines. After all of my research, I'm a huge believer in the DS. 20+ years of research to back it up.

if I were in your position and no issues with the sleeve I'd go to DS. The sleeve is the first 1/2 so you are partly there.
