Checking to see if anyone has had this procedure using theses two. If so, what was your time process of getting approved, and if any issues, what were they? Thanks

I had band removal and revision to bypass in 2015. I had traditional Medicare and a Medicare supplement policy. I saw my surgeon in the middle of June and had all the requirements met and surgery scheduled by the end of July. Hope this helps.

Hello how are I just had my surgery 4/24/17 and with medicaid the biggest thing is that you have to see a nutritionist for 6-7 months before the surgeon can summit for approval. Also in the mean time you have to do all the appts. with the specialists. This is in connecticut I am not certain on other states but I am assuming is similar.

Hi, and thanks for response. I'm seeing a nutritionist and have had upper GI done. My appointment with surgeon is on the 11th, last appt with nutritionist s same day. They have not said anything about any other specialists. I reside in Alabama, surgeon is in Atlanta Ga. Thank you for your response. By the way, which revision procedure did you have done?
