Pretty well. I'm 5 months post op so they are still pink...but they will fade like the old ones did.

Band-RNY revision age 50 5'4" HW 260 SW: 244 (bf healthy range 23-35%) bf 23.7% (at 137lbs) cw range 135-138.lbl with butt lift and mastoplexy March 23, 2018...2.5lbs removed.

My surgeon used the same lap sites. However, I had a drain, so I had one more hole.

Does everyone get a drain and is it removed before being discharged.

I would have absolutely no way to tell you if everyone gets a drain. Whether you have one is wholly dependent on your surgeon and his practice. My surgeon placed a drain, but this was my third abdominal surgery (VSG, gallbladder and conversion to RNY). My drain remained in place for a week after my surgery

I'm not having a revision but a Heller myotomy surgery next month and my surgeon said he will be using the same incisions.

I had rny laparoscopically 10/24 then i had to have rny revision 2/20. They used the same sites. Pain was so much less the second time, they said this was due to using the same sites.

No drains. Either time.

I'm now post op DS and just wanted to let everyone know... surgeon used 2 of the previous incision sites and created 4 new ones (one for a drain).
