Hi Suzanne,

Well had my appointment and the Doctor said, my stomach is fine and didn't stretch however I still put on a significant amount of weight. So he asked me, what I would like to do, I told him I would like to have the revision and he agreed and said okay. Before I proceed I need 6 appointments with nutritionist next week will make 3.

My questions to him would be, what type of revision would he do? And if my stomach didn't stretch what revision would best fit me? I want to get back on track, once I do I'll feel so much better, even though I'm fine, just want to get on track.

Thanks for your reply. I've met with my Dr twice. He doesn't call procedures by name, so I'm definitely writing down my questions bc the next visit will be my last before revision!

Yeah it's so weird, my pouch is fine, everything is except that fistula. Ugh.

Now we wait! Again....

Thats exciting! I know your excited, I can't wait until majority of everything will be completed. How does it work with Insurance? Concerned about that?

I'm waiting for the answer from my insurance. As I understand it, if it's looked at as a failed surgery, they cover it at 100%. I know, I'm a very lucky girl!

Yes you are ð?'ð?'.Its so much to Revisions I know they can do them with massive weight gain, however I have no idea which revision I want. I do want a safe yet successful one, I'll have that talk next week. However since my stomach didn't stretch, I'm wondering what are other revisions do they offer? And what are other reasons to have a Revision besides (stomach stretching/reflux)? I guess weight gain after the first RnY too

Any feedback would be great.

Also with a comorbidity like high bp, diabetes, etc, they will do with a bmi of 35-up. I think you can discuss the Distal RNY or a DS.
