Bypass to Sleeve - 2 surgeries

Hello! New here! 

I had gastric bypass in 2007 when I was WAY too young and very noncompliant. I never lost a ton of weight and have since gained it back. Over the past several years I have been working VERY hard in therapy and overcoming some major loses in my life (my dads death). I have been talking with my surgeon who wants to go in and undo the bypass and then in a second surgery do the sleeve. 

Has ANYONE experienced this? I know it's not very common so I'm desperate to hear of someone else's experience.
