Revision due to hiatal hernia?

Hi everyone,

Had RNY in 2004, now have large hiatal hernia with pouch through (not completely), It is more than likely that I will need surgery to close the hernia. My surgeon I could tell doesn't want to go in and in his post op note to my doctor said increased risk of bleeding and leak, organ damage, etc.

So needless to say I'm kinda scared.

Anyone have a hernia that needed repair and then a revision? How did you do?
