.
I'm waiting on a reply from insurance to cover a revision. The only thing is my insurance required clinical notes that there was a medical or surgical complication in order to get revision. They said my bmi was fine at 35 ... She said they would frown on revision if I was 31-32 or lower . I'm not sure my reply was helpful
You'd really have to find out from your insurance what their requirements are. I remember some insurance would cover surgery with a bmi of 35 with co morbidities, but it was for a virgin wls not a revision. Make sure to ask if they go by the initial bmi, or the one after the Dr supervised diet, depending on which one they go by can disqualify you for surgery.

I hope you have done your research. Revisions are dangerous. You posted several times that you were not doing what you were supposed to be doing to lose weight. RNY won't help if you still refuse to watch what you eat. I know many RNYers who have gained most of their weight back.
If you are determined to get a revision, you should look into the DS. You already have the sleeve so this revision would be an easier one for your body and would add the malabsorption you may need. Good luck.

To refresh your memory, HERE is your posting history.
If you're not honest with yourself, losing weight and keeping it off will be impossible, revision or not.

If healthy eating works for you, I guess I just don't understand why you are looking for a revision.
The 5 year statistics for weight loss are pretty much identical for VSG and RNY. Unless you have horrific gerd, I don't think the risk of an RNY revision is a very good one.
You are still not that far out from your sleeve. You can get the results you want without another surgery.
