diet and testing

For those who have had a revision, did you have to go through another supervised diet period and all of the testing that you had to with your first surgery?

Depends entirely on the insurance and surgeon requirements and just like the original surgery it varies from person to person.

From personal experience, it comes from your BMI going into the revision.

I did not have to do any supervised diet but my BMI still qualified me.  My insurance (Aetna) didn't require it for revision. I did have to complete another sleep study, cardiac stress test, abdominal ultrasound, EGD, blood work, etc. but I believe most of that was to ensure the surgeon and I both knew what we were getting into rather than being insurance requirements.
