Lapband revision to sleeve in one or two surgeries

My surgeon really wanted to do removal and revision to sleeve both in one surgery. However, I was not sure that I wanted to undergo another wls, and we have no idea what may be found once he goes in to remove the band. Just to play it safe, I fought with him to put in for band removal and revision for a later date, and that's where I currently am. I haven't had my band removed yet. 

how long did u waited between the removal and the other surgery?

I had mine done in two surgeries.  I waited 4.5 months in between.  I wasn't happy about it at the time but after understanding why the wait and seeing the numbers of leak doing all in one being so much higher than when they wait I got it.

You surgeon is just trying to do what is best for you and what the ASMBS recommends.
