Had upper gi today. Won't know for another 3 weeks what they saw. I don't think they saw anything bad which is good but frustrating. I just keep telling myself things will get better.

Haven't updated in months, sheesh, sorry.

So results came back I have a hiatal hernia. Surgeon said it was small and nothing to worry about. He told me I am not a candidate for surgery and to just continue taking prilosec. He was also very dismissive as it seems he did not like that I chose to see him over the surgeon who did my surgery. I did that because the other surgeon was dismissive when I would visit.

Unfortunately nothing has been resolved. I still have bad acid reflux that according to exams shouldn't be a problem, so I just seem like a crazy person with phantom pains. I wish.  Funny thing is first specialist was like you're fine, and didn't understand why I was taking antacids. I wouldn't take just her word for it and did the GI with a wls surgeon and they found the hernia.

I limit my food to easy to get down things, which Im sure contributes to the weight gain. Otherwise my food gets stuck and comes back up. I also get hiccups constantly after eating and have issues with my stool. I'm either having the runs or feel pressure as if I have to go, and nothing.

I'm at loss now what to do. No one seems to think it's an issue, but none of them are in my body dealing with constant heartburn, stomach issues and this weight gain.
