Revision

I had my lap-band out Oct.3rd. My Dr. said he can't do a sleeve because they use the staples on the stomach. He wants to give me Gastric Bypass-don't they staple the stomach smaller when they do it & reroute your intestine? I don't get it!

Find a new surgeon! He probably doesn't do the sleeve and wants you to let him do a bypass instead. If you want a sleeve don't let him push you into something else.

Yikes, don't go to a surgeon with such limited skills! YOU have to live with the surgery you choose, so don't let a surgeon with limited skills dictate what you will live with for the rest of you life vs what is easiest for them for an hour or two of surgery. Yah, you actually do get it.
