Having revision from lapband to sleeve!

Has anyone had it done and did get band remove on same time?

VSG on 07/29/13

I had my band to sleeve revision on 7/29. I have had no problems or complications thus far. I am 3 weeks out today and have lost 17 lbs since surgery and on soft foods.

I'm not sure if you have problems with your band but mine never worked for me and was quite uncomfortable. I feel much better now and do not regret my decision at all.

Did you get it removed and got the sleeve on the same day ?I cant wait to get my done im just going threw my 6 months thing again.

Yes. Band removed and sleeved in one procedure.

I was band to bypass, but they did it all in one surgery.

Lap Band on 02/25/09

I had to wait between my lapband removal and sleeve. They do this to decrease the odds of complications. Good luck with your revision.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
