When does the weight loss start?

Can anyone comment on when significant weight loss begins following revision surgery? My surgery was 6 days ago and I've been following the liquid diet instructions to the letter, getting the right protein and have been very active (walking several miles per day) but it seems I've already hit a plateau.  The only thing that comes to mind is that my body may be in starvation mode and storing any calories taken in.  I'd appreciate any comments.  Thanks.

You are way too early out from surgery to worry about losing yet, you need to concentrate on healing now and the weight will come later. It would help to know what you revised from and to. Some surgeries are longer to recover from.

Also what did you revise from and to.  What procedure did they preform?

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

And you still have alot of post op fluid retention. It will start falling off. Stay the course and keep doing what you are doing ! Congrats !

Thanks for the comments!  I had a reconstruction of an RNY. Original RNY in 2005 - last week I had a procedure where the stoma and pouch were reconstructed plus I had half of my stomach removed.
