Hi

I had a by pass in 2003 looking to do a revision.  I am scared to do it but needs to be done.  I am gaining weight and I feel hungry alot.  I would like to know can you go from a RNY to a DS revision? And what generally is the healing time?

Try posting on the DS forum they can give you all the info you need,

Yes, you can---but it takes a VERY experienced surgeon. Here's a link to a post that lists them all: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/revision/4599894/RNY-to-DS -revision-surgeons/

Hi!  What is Dr. Stewart's first name and where in TX is he located?  I am in LA, and need to have an eroded lap band out.  I don't know if he does that but I thought I might call and see?

It's Daryl, and he's in Denton. I think he also does some surgery in another city, but I can't remember where.

Thank you I have a consult with Dr Roslin already so that is a good sign.  Do you know what the average weight loss is?

No, sorry, I don't. If you find out---post it here!

Hi

I'am looking to have revision as well. In 2007 I had gastric bypass after I had a baby I have had some weight gain. My Doctor wouldn't do the DS he said it is harsh of a surgery on a person who have a bypass. He also said he would of had to do it in 2 parts.
