Revision

I had my RNY surgery 3/19/2003, I lost 90 lbs. from my 296 lbs frame.  Now I am looking to find the best revision for me. I am scheduled for a session at Wake Med 1/26/2013. I am looking at the Transoral Rose. If there is anyone here who has had the revision from RNY to Transoral Rose please tell me your results.

Renee, I thought about a ROSE procedure but their are no long term results and I know people who did it who lost nothing. Its not REAL WLS. Please consider an RNY-RNY, RNY to Lap Band (BOB) or RNY to DS.  These will give yout he results you need, not some 'flavor of the month' that you will revise again in 6 mos to a year.

Don't waste your time (and money) with the ROSE procedure.  I've never heard of one person who has been happy with the long term results.  Your best bet for a revision would be a DS but there aren't a lot of surgeons who are qualified to do a RNY to DS revision.  There is a post on here about DS revision surgeons.  If possible, get an appointment with one of them to get their expert opinion.
