FYI- How I got approval for revison

Hi Everyone,

Just to make this short:

I was denied for a revision from lapband to RNY.  My insurance said they only cover one bariatric surgery per life time.     I found out I have a brain tumor and the surgeons ( I saw 5 ) all said I need to loose 80lbs before I have surgery.  My tumor is not cancerous but growing,  It is called a Acoustic neuroma, which it is pressing on my brain stem and took my hearing from the right ear.

I went thu the appeal process, thinking my tumor and 5 neurosurgeons who wrote a letter of medical necessity insisting I need the RNY ASAP.  Still I was turned down.  I went thu 2 appeal process.  Denied twice.  Knowing If I did the 3rd appeal it would be my final option, I hired a Lindstrom Obesity Advocacy help with the final external appeal.  It cost me 600.00, alot cheaper then paying for it myself.  

My surgery date is 11/12/2012.    Thanks,
