Hi everyone,
I had a revision from Lap Band to vertical sleeve on Nov 23, 2011. You can see my blog. I blogged all the details from my hospital stay and what symptoms I went through which were a lot. Then  Dec 16 had another surgery in short went home on a feeding tube. I blogged my 2nd surgery as well.
Don't be afraid I am doing awesome!
It took me several month to get to MY normal. I am doing very well better than I ever thought. My food is very consistent. I am a routine eater. I want to inspire all of you who are struggling. I went through my HELL but I feel great and if you have any questions I will try to help you. I love my vertical sleeve. I have reached my goal weight and size. My goal was 170 and size 12. I just weight in tonight I am 167. I think I can fit into size 10-12.

Good luck and I hope you get an authorization. You won't regret the sleeve. I love it.

Congratulations!  Fighting insurance to get my conversion to a Sleeve!
After reading your blog, I'm glad they are making me wait to get the sleeve even If I had an OK.

Hi,
I'm a little surprize that the doctors office didn't get the Sleeve approved at the time they received the Lap Band removal. I wish you the best of luck with the insurance company. It is well worth it. I drop 70 lbs with the sleeve.

They have changed to a 1in a lifetinge WLS.  You can get the band removed for medical reasons.  Than you have to start the fight all over again as you are new.  Many are starting to post the same.
