Yes, a bunch of us are traveling down your same round....me included. I was banded in December 2007, had my band removed in August 2012, and now I am prepping for the sleeve. My dr will schedule my VSG surgery on Dec. 7th, after I complete by 3 months of post-op. It's a long and difficult journey ahead, but I refuse to give up. Please consider hopping on over to Band2Sleeve. We are hoping to get a really good support group going.

Hi! Thank you for responding. I would love to join the Band2Sleeve group. I have tried numerous times and it will not allow me to do so. Any insite on what I need to do, is greatly appreciated.

You should be all set now.....I just approved you. I am not sure what happened in the past, but I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately, I have to approve each member because we had some folks trolling our board with the intention of bashing us because they support the band so much. Personally, I have nothing against the band and I am happy that many people did not experience the medical complications that I did. I don't get the hate and animosity towards people like us. We did not fail, the band failed us. It's just like when a perscription does not work for you and your doctor changes it.

Anyway, I digress from the point. I am so happy you joined us!

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Yes - then I get an email message sent to me and then I have to log-in and approve each one. Sometimes it takes awhile because I have not checked my email. I usually try to approve folks the minute I read the message.
