The program fee is $4,000.00

These are just the Surgeons FEES Only!!!!
Open DS: $8650.00
Lap DS: $9525.00
Sleeve: $2000.00

REVISIONS:
Revision - Lap Band to DS: $8650.00
Revision - RNY, VBG, Fobi Pouch, or other unknow bariactric procedure to DS: $11,000.00

On my paperwork, The hospital fee (I think it was for a 4 day stay) was $17,500.00

So, my cost for RNY to DS is $32,500.00

Wow, so much. I am just starting research for a revision.

So if I wanted to get my VSG revised to a DS with this surgeon, it would be

4000+11,000+17,500?

Is 17,000 normal for a 4 day hospital stay? When I had my VSG , I did not pay anywhere near that much for the hospital stay, and I was cash pay.

I have the sheet I was given, and those were the prices on it, except that the hospital, the office called, and got the amount for that from them. The hospital is Verdugo Hills hospital. I am assuming that is the operating room, recovery, and all of that, plus the 4 day stay. I am sure you could call them and get a quote.
Is the VSG the sleeve? If it is, then Dr. K will not be doing anything other than 'adding' the intestional portion of the surgery (the lower 1/2). And I honestly think his fee would be much less, since he would not be doing any work on the stomach.

Hello there,

I had my revision on march 9th 2011 and self pay rny to ds revision. 2 payments in total, 17,500 for hospital (left on 6th day) and 11,000 to Dr K. There is no aditional 4,000 i'ts already included this those fees.
