Advice Needed: Band to VSG Revision? (x-posted)

Hi All,

A good friend of mine recently found out she has a slipped band.  She's doing the liquid diet now in the hopes that it will move back into place on its own, but if it doesn't and she does require surgery, she's considering revising to the VSG.

Can any of you offer any advice or share your experience with revising from the band to the VSG?  I'll post this on the VSG forum as well, but thought I'd put this up here as well.

 I had two bands the first slipped and erroded the second just erroded.  Aftet my last band was removed and my stomach healed from the errosion I had the VSG.  I have been very happy with the sleeve and wish I had just done the sleeve in the first place.
