I can't count the times people on this forum have literally saved my life.  I could have gone with the , rose, stomaphyx, band and the latest the dreaded erny.  But because I listen and ask questions even stupid ones you guys care.  Scream at me and be as snarky as you want it is the only way strong headed people like me will listen.

I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You know WHO you are!!!!
P.S.  Still in limbo with my revision from ru - n -y to ds with dr.Greenbaum.  I have my report and it says that the "pouch was transected above the staple line and anastomosed to the loop of small bowel"  Help Diana!!!!!!!!! (or anybody out there) Doesn't this mean my pouch is separated from my old stomach?????????? I do not understand then why he will not do the full ds.  His reasoning doesnt hold water.  It is very possible I do not understand something here.

Okay Dr Greenbaum just explained. My pouch isn't transected.  Sorry for misinformation.

Darlin', for whatever reason, he does not want to do the DS. 
Please find a surgeon who wants to do your surgery of choice and who is very experienced at doing it.
