I am waiting on insurance approval for my WLS (bypass) and i have a herniated disc and the neuro dr. is wanting to do spinal injestions on my back. So is this gonna be a problem if i get my approval and have my surgery soon. I will be put under whle they do the injestions so that i am very still since they will be injecting into my spine. Just wanting to know if anybody esle has ever had this problem.......Thanks and God Bless

I've had spine injections 3 times and I was never put under...just laid very still. I don't think there would be a problem with the 2 but really they didn't help all that much. It might be something to think about holding on for until after your bypass surgery. Most people lose so much quickly that it might be all you need for the back pain. :) Good luck!
