revision after 2 years???and if medicare pays?
I'm almost 2 yrs out from rou en y and i have lost all together about 100 pounds in the 1st year but then it stopped i cant lose anything else ive tried. I was wondering if anyone knows if or when u can get a rivision done and if medicare pays for it? If anyone has had this experience please let me know im so depressed about not losing all my weight.
Typically you have to be 2 years post op before ins will pay for a revision.
What revision are you considering?

Here's a listing of vetted DS surgeons, but---there are very few surgeons capable of doing a 'true' RNY-to-DS revision. There's Rabkin and Keshishian in CA, Husted in AZ, Greenbaum in NJ, and Elariny in VA. I don't know if any of them accept Medicare assignment.
