Revision from RNY to Sleeve in Texas
Not sure what your insurance would require. Do you have a copy of the insurance policy? I do know that a take down of your pouch, and turning it into a sleeve is a difficult surgery!!
Have you tried the DS or sleeve board? I understand you are not looking for a DS, but the folks there are a great knowledge base to ask. How about the Texas board for a surgeon?
Look up Daryl Stewart, he does do the DS.
Good luck!!!

Did you have a baby around '06? Just seems like you look familiar from the post-op pregnancy board, is all.
I live in Alaska, and I traveled for my RNY, and a little over a year later, I traveled agin for my TT, hernia repair & gallbladder removal. So, having to travel again is TOTALLY WORTH IT to me!!!
2 surgeons are in California, 1 is on the East Coast, 1 is in Canada, and 1 is in Airizona.
Good LUCK in whatever you decide!!! RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH!!!!! www.dsfacts.com

My baby was 08 and 09
Talked to my surgeon today. I'm 135 pounds and my BMI is normal. Even though my pouch is bigger since having 2 kids post-op my surgeon said NO ONE would touch me with my BMI being in the normal range.
He told me to watch the sale do Advocare and lose 15 pounds.
So, that's what I shall do! LOL
Thanks Jamie
