1 1/2 years later finally approved with bc federal
It took a long battle of a year and a half but I finally got approved. I have had a scope done that shows a hiatal hernia and my pouch stretched twice as big as it should be in both directions as well as the stoma stretched. My BMI wasn't enough , but after a little weight gain, it is! Gotta play the insurance game sadly.
But, now my RNY revision is scheduled for Thurs 9/23 and I am nervous!! Probably more nervous than the first time around. Anyone else nervous going in??? I have about 70 # to lose to get back to my goal. I am hoping this will come off pretty well.
Anyone have suggestions on things to buy food/liquid wise that worked well for you the first month? Anything that you were glad you took to the hospital with you?

Congrats! I am revising to the switch on 9/22. =)
For my first surgery, I had a supply of sugar free jello, liquid protein shakes, bottled water, crystal light, sugar free pudding, and deviled meat and mashed potatoes at the house. Also, you could make some homemade chicken noodle soup before you go. The broth is warm and excellent post op, and easy on your tummy.
As far as the hospital goes, I took personal toiletries, socks (it gets cold) and I made sure to have lotion (for some reason your skin tends to irritate with all the tape, etc). I also took a book and an ipod. I slept most of the time. =) Good luck with the surgery!!
