Revision in No Cali - original surgery with Kaiser
Hello all,
I am 4+ yrs out and have decided to start looking into a revision. I had RNY with Dr. Gorrin at SSF Kaiser.
Does Kaiser even do revisions? My experience with the SSF office wasn't that great. If they do - I'm ging to ask for a different office.
If not, I am willing to change my type of insurance to get the revision.
Since I had RNY - is there a 'preferred' revision method? Anyone know of a good Dr. in the San Jose area?
thanks so much for your time :)

Dawn,
I think it's very very difficult (as in next to impossible) to get revision surgery through Kaiser, if you can change insurance to a carrier who covers revision surgery you'll be much better off. The best revision surgeon in the Bay Area is Dr. John Rabkin in San Francisco, he is one of the best in the country. Check out www.paclap.com.
