Can someone explain to me what a revison is please?

Hi ttlc4ever, a revision is when you have your current surgery (RNY,DS, Band, any wls) revised or fixed, repaired, for what ever reason your previous weight loss surgery failed you. It can be due to your current surgery only allowed you to lose a small amount of weight, not allowing you to reach your wt. loss goal, or you have loss a significant amount of weight and can't lose anymore and slowly begin to regain weight. that you have loss. or you may have a medical problem such as a fistula which is causing you to gain weight. This is when most people seek a revision to fix the problem so that they can start to lose weight again to reach their goal and become successful in their weight loss surgery...I hope this helps.
