HI I e-mailed him 2 days ago. he is back in NYC and will be seeing patients in a few more weeks. it may be MT. Sinai.    Does he accept insurance?

 I don't know.  Probably.  Mt Sinai surely accepts insurance.  You should ask him.  NYC is not a place for self-payers, I don't think.  Maybe i'm wrong since i've never been to NYC but it has a reputation for being very expensive.  

when i first went to Dr. Gagner in NYC Mt Sinai several years ago he took no insurance of any kind; when he did my revision in Miami Mt Sinai he did take insurance so hopefully he now does in NY as well.
