OMG! I got My Date Today - October 9, 2009 at 11:00 am

My surgery date is October 9, 2009 at 11:00 am.

I am dancing my booty off  right about now.

I have to start my two week liquid diet ASAP, but who cares.

I am hella happy as I now have my surgery date.

Rock and roll.

Let the games begin.

Two week liquid diet starts tomorrow ..

i am so proud of u, for u...u worked really hard to get where u are.

u are an inspiration to me...i need ur strength....im preop i was scheduled for revision in oct 08...insurance decided i needed a 6 month nutrition class. surgery was reset for april of 09, then i had some issue i need to handle and i am now ready... i called the insurance to see if the papers have been filed but insurance says no...ofc nurse says im working on it..
 
i dont wanna hafta pull a Teena, but my hubby got a notice today that if "term" employees are up for renewal they will not be renewed unless more military force is added to Iraq or Afghanistan..he is term and renews in january

so i may lose coverage by the new year...i need to light the fire under some souls....plz share more ways to get things going...

i really like the reputation of my surgeon and dont want to jump ship, and i really like his ofc nurse... got attached to her during the 6 month classes...

i have called twice this month to see where we are with things, im not getting a real clear picture of who has the papers, so im being nice and quite for now.......

You need to figure out your time line though as it sounds like they are trying to through a wrench in your plans.

Do you know if you are gonna have to start the classes all over again?

I hope you are able to get your surgery before the change.

Nice and quiet is good for a little while, but don't forget insurance companies sometimes walk all over nice and quiet people.

Not saying be rude or loud, but be seen and heard.

Ok Teena im trying to stay in my seat, and not jump up and down prematurely....

just got off the phone with Ins. they have recieved the papers from the surgeon....they said they like to make predeterminations in 24-48 hours but since its a weekend  (they just got them yesterday), i should try back either tuesday or wednesday for an answer.....oh oh oh...

i have had the "rug" pulled out from under me twice with this surgery.....im so worried about getting excited and then hittin the floor face first again....

the ofc nurse said that the behvior modification class was good for 6 months, so i think December would be my limit.....

plz pray with me.....im so anxious.....i wanna smile but tears keep welling up in my eyes....i know u said never give up, but at some point did u feel like "god" is trying to tell u something, like its a "sign"

Well at least now you know where the paper work is so that is half the battle.

I am praying that things go smoothly for you and you find something out by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I know a little something about having the rug pulled out from other me a time or too along this journey so I understand your desire to try to be patient.

I am glad that you have at least until December as far as your modification class goes.

I never felt like God was trying to tell me something like it was a sign.because I just have that personality type that I will never give up or take no for an answer in all aspects of my life.

If one door feels like it is closing I always see if there is a window open.
