Had my endoscopy today and found out that my pouch is find but the other thing has stretched some. I asked my Doctor today what surgery he performed the first time. He said it was neither proximal or distal, it was 150cc, whatever that means. What can I do now. He wants me to follow up in 2 weeks, but there is nothing that he can do that bc/bs will cover...so what;s the use. Does anyone elso know any other options I may have or should I just get second opinion.

Medial is the other term used.  I think every doctor is a little different with the length equalling the size name??

Get a SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH opinion!!!!  Your HEALTH is worth it!!!!

Ask him for actual measurements of the pouch.  My original surgeon said my pouch was "fine", too, but in reality it was big enough to get a revision, and my surgeon just didn't want to deal with doing a revision.    I agree w/ getting another opinion.

  2nd Opinion !!

you might also want to get a copy of your policy. there may be some  revision criteria he is unaware of.

See another doctor!  Preferably one who does several types of revisions.  I have bcbs and they paid for my revision from an RNY to an ERNY.  Check your insurance requirements out for yourself if you have not already.  Call them or go on line but be sure to make it clear that it is for a revision not a first time wls.

I had several surgeons who would not even see me to discuss a revision.....so I found someone who would listen!

Good Luck to you.

Was your BMI over 40 or what other comorbidities did you have?

My BMI was 33 at the time of my revision.  I wanted to get a handle on my weight gain before I went to far so I chose to start seeking a revision.  My comorbidity's had not returned.  I did have an occasional bout of accelerated heart rate which scared me a bit.
