Monday, it begins again

Twelve years to the day that my VBG was done, I am having the band and its resulting ulcer removed while being converted toa VSG.  I hope I am ready for another trip to the rodeo.  I am filled with hope, anxiety, and major cynicism.  It should be a fun ride.  This will be the third time in my life to lose 100+pounds(see the optimism...lol).  Let's hope this time it lasts (and the cynicism).  It has been interesting to see how different the whole procedure is this time around.  The last time my total post-op conseling was "Don't drink milkshakes."  Live and learn.
