Revision

Had RYN about 5 years ago.  Needless to say i have gained quiet a bit of weight back. I agreed to have a revision while my husband goes for his first try at the RYN.  I want to try the DS, but not sure if degenerative bone disease will be an issue. Has anyone experience the bone disease issue with the DS?

 Hi You might want to repost this on the DS board - not many DSers read this board. One of the lab tests you have to have regularly is for calcium and PTH, to make sure you're taking in enough calcium so your body isn't taking it from your bones instead. You need regular lab tests for this and other things, so if you had an issue it would be picked up quickly and you could do something about it. Good luck with your research Sal
