Stomaphyx or Rose Procedure??

Can anyone explain the two procedures, and side affects, if any, and who qualifies for these types of procedures??

Also, I'm going back to my surgeon next month. My main concern is the enlarged pouch...not sure if mine's enlarged, but I'm gaining weight. I've gained over 20 lbs in the past year, and really haven't changed anything (except I stopped smoking).

I can't think of anything else other than the occaisional carbonated diet drink.

Any advice?
